About

Fabric is an AI-powered workspace and cloud drive that brings notes, files, bookmarks, meetings, and canvases together, with semantic search and a personal AI assistant that knows your content. It runs on the web, desktop, iOS, Android, and as a Chrome extension.

Fabric started as an 'internet library' for saving links, images, and files and has grown into a full AI workspace. Everything you save, from PDFs, EPUBs, videos, and voice memos to images and documents, lands in a single cloud drive that can also be mounted as a drive on your computer, with instant file streaming. On top of that sit a minimal Markdown editor with real-time collaborative editing, an infinite canvas, kanban boards, tasks and reminders, annotations on any file or link, and an AI notetaker that records and transcribes meetings. Semantic search lets you find material by meaning, color, or mood instead of keywords, across Fabric and connected services such as Google Drive, Notion, Figma, and Dropbox. The built-in assistant has 'intelligent memory' of your work, gives access to models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others, and can run scheduled AI jobs such as weekly summaries or web monitoring, while 50+ integrations let it act inside tools like Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, and Linear. Content can be published publicly and shared with teammates in spaces with chat and comments. Fabric was founded in 2022 by London-based Jonathan Bree, with a team spread across the UK and US, and raised a $1M pre-seed round led by Seedcamp.
